How to attest a degree certificate for Qatar ?


If you have been offered a job in Qatar and your new employer needs to process your employment visa in Qatar, the bachelor’scertificate is the best one to be attested.
Though you may have a Master’s or a PHD certificate and prefer those attested, its always advisable to attest the bachelor’s certificate.
If you decide to go ahead and attest your Master’s or PHD certificate, when your attested documents arrive in Qatar and are taken to the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs, chances are they will reject them and ask you to attest your previous education certificates.
This is a total waste of time and money  and its best to avoid this challenging situation.
When attesting your educational certificates for Qatar, you will have to attest 3documents , not one. So your original degree , original transcript and a bonafide letter has to be attested.
The bonafide letter has to be issued by the university. It should contain key points that the Qatar embassy would like to see.
Below is what is required to be written by the university :
§  Certificate given and result
§  Full-time or part-time
§  Distance learning (E-Learning) or Face to Face learning (on campus learning)
§  Location of study (country)
§  Location of examinations (college campus / university campus)
§  Duration of study
§  The start date and the end date of study

Documentsrequired for Qatar Attestation : (Education Certificate) :
* Original Degree
* Final Mark sheet / Transcripts
* Bonafede letter from college or university (as per points above)
* Passport Copy of the candidate


Attestation Process for Qatar :
* Notarisation  from home country
* Foreign Affairs Attestation from Home Country
* Qatar embassy Attestation.
* Ministry Of Foreign Affairs from Qatar

The whole process will take around 20 to 25 working days.
